The California Museum – home of the California Hall of Fame and the Unity Center – engages, educates and enlightens people about California's rich history, its diversity and its unique influence on the world of ideas, innovation, art and culture. Through interactive experiences, the Museum inspires visitors to make a mark on history.
Long-term signature exhibits include "California Indians: The First People," "Gold Mountain: Chinese Californian Stories," "Women Inspire: California Women Changing Our World," and "Uprooted: An American Story." Has launched a new Distance Learning program providing educational materials for K-12th grade students aligned with Common Core and California State Content standards. A State Symbols Coloring Book and a series of five California Indians Oral History worksheets are currently available.
