California Time Traveler Summer Camp

The California Museum
7/8/2024
Ideal for young adventurers, the California Museum’s week-long day camp offers participants engaging learning experiences as they travel back in time to some of the state’s significant eras. A combination of exhibit tours, excursions to nearby historical sites and hands-on activities, daily itineraries begin on Monday over 150 years ago in pre-statehood California and end on Friday in the near future that California campers will create. Each camper will receive a one-year Cub Club membership to the California Museum. This membership includes a personalized membership card granting free admission for one child and one guest, a Monarch the Bear backpack, a California flag, and quarterly educational craft packets celebrating themes exhibited at the California Museum. The California Museum celebrates the state’s rich history, its diversity and its unique influence on the world of ideas, innovation, art and culture. Established in 1998, the Museum is home to the official California Hall of Fame and many more exhibitions inspiring visitors to make a mark on history.
